  1. General
  • This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”), on behalf of Lazer India Private Limited of the address 43, Ground Floor, Rajasthani Udyog Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, North West Delhi, 110033, India (hereinafter referred to as “Vardhaman Group, the “Company, we, us, ours”) has been intended to provide its users a framework for personal information that may be collected and how such an information is used, and the choices you have regarding our use of this information.
  • The providers of this Privacy Policy shall ensure firm dedication to your privacy, especially concerning the protection of your invaluable data as per the rules and regulations enumerated under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011.
  • This Privacy Policy shall regulate the use of the website http://www.lazerindia.com/(hereinafter referred to as the collectively the ‘Platform” which shall also include the other associated applications, products, websites and services managed by the Company) on behalf of Lazer India.
  • This Privacy Policy applies to all users who access the Platform and are therefore required to read and understand the Policy before submitting any Personal Information (defined hereinafter). By submitting Personal Information, you are consenting to the use and processing of such information in accordance with this Policy.
  • We strongly advise and recommend all our users/visitors to our Platform to read and understand our Privacy Policy cautiously, as by accessing our Platform you agree to be legally bound by the Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, storage and use of information relating to you as provided herein.
  • Any User who does not accept/agree with any provisions of this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions is advised to leave and stop using the Platform, immediately. In case any user/visitor disagrees with this Policy (defined below) and still continues to access the Platform and provides his or her personal information/data, the company shall disclaim all the liabilities arising therefrom and the continued use of the platform that the user/visitor shall be assumed as acceptance of the Policy and all the other T&C available on the Platform.
  • Your use of the Platform or any services in connection with the Platform or products (‘Services’), shall signify your acceptance of this Policy and your agreement to be legally bound by the same.
  1. User-Provided Information
  • The Platform shall obtain the following information that you may provide when you download and register for the Platform:
  1. Personal Information: Name, Age, Email address, Location, Phone number, Login password, Your ward’s educational interests;
  2. Sensitive Personal Information: Financial information such as Bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details; Any of the information that may be required for processing, stored or processed under lawful contract or otherwise;
  3. Associated Information: Information you provide us when you contact us for help; Information you enter into our system when using the Platform, such as while asking doubts, participating in discussions and taking tests.

         Hereinafter collectively be referred to as “Information” for the purposes of this Policy as defined under the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011.

  • It may be required that we may ask you when we need more information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you.
  • We will not differentiate between who is using the device to access the Platform, so long as the log-in/access credentials match with yours. In order to make the best use of the Platform and enable your Information to be captured accurately on the Platform, it is important that you have registered using your own credentials.
  • We will, at all times, provide the option to you to not provide the Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information, which we seek from you. Further, you shall, at any time while using the Application/Services/products, also have an option to withdraw your consent given earlier to us to use such Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information. In such event, however, the Company fully reserves the right not to allow further usage of the Application or provide any Services/products thereunder to you.
  1. Automated Information collection
  • Addition to the above stated information, there is another set of information that shall be automatically collected by us. Our system shall gather information that is transmitted over the internet without a user’s control such as we may collect and analyse the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect a user’s computer to the internet; email; login; password; computer and connection information such as operating system, course enrolled history, browser type and version, and platform; which we sometimes aggregate with similar information from other users to create features, reports such as popular courses, most used features etc; the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, and from our Platform, including cookie number; courses or videos viewed or searched for by the users; date and time; the email id used by the user to contact our customer service.
  • During some visits, we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to a certain page, course and videos, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.
  1. Use of your personal information
  • We shall use the collected information to analyse trends, to conduct research, to administer the Application/Services and products, to learn about each user’s learning patterns and movements around the Application/Services and products and to gather demographic information and usage behavior about our user base as a whole. Aggregated and individual, anonymized and non-anonymized data may periodically be transmitted to external service providers to help us improve the Application, products and our Services. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described below in this Policy. Vardhaman Group may occasionally send email notices or contact you to communicate about our Services, products and benefits, as they are considered an essential part of the Services/products you have chosen.

  • The Platform has been designed to provide you with the access to your Personal Information so that it is ensured the information provided by you is current, correct and updated. You may update and change your profile by accessing our Platform, from time to time.

  • Cookies are used to track your preferences, help you login faster, and aggregated to determine user trends, analyses your individual behavior. This data is used to improve our offerings, such as providing more content in areas of greater interest to a majority of users.

    • We shall retain user data while an account is active and for at least three years afterwards. We may bring changes and alterations to this practice as per law and to suit our business requirements, from time to time.
